Hi!  I was looking for information about the GI when I came across your site.  And happily so!  I will get going with this diet immediately.  Have been vegetarian/vegan for a couple of years, and putting on weight from all the grains.  My first question: what about coffee?  I am off to the gym, and can't imagine an hour of hard exercise [elliptical and treadmill and weights] without coffee first.  Has anyone else reported on this; I couldn't find any comments?  Looking forward to shedding some unnecessary pounds, and enjoying some locally grown and humanely slaughtered grass-fed meats - thanks for the site!
