Eggs instead of Fruit

Brand new to the diet.  Not a big fan of fruit.  Can I substitute eggs for fruit during Phase 1 while I'm grazing during the day?

You could have one a day, but try and have a good variety of foods so you get a good mix of vitamins and minerals. Try and find some fruit you like....... How about berries ?

Thanks for the reply.  I like apples so I'll stick with that.  I don't need the eggs, just wondering if there was a downside to substituting eggs for fruit.  I'm guessing that you would stick with fruit and nuts for stage 1, so I'll do that.

Eggs are ok if you like them..... They used to be thought too high in cholesterol, but now we know about HDL and LDL , so they are considered more healthy.

You can also have veggies, or seeds too.

Infact i would suggest to have an apple as its rich in fiber
