HI PALS, I STARTED STAGE ONE TODAY BEING MONDAY 26TH OF MAY 2014. I INTEND TO GO ALONG WITH THIS WITH COMMITMENT. I HAVE PROBLEM WITH CRAVINGS BUT WILL PET MYSELF WITH THE IDEAL THAT AT DINNER TIME I WILL GET A GOOD TREAT FOR MYSELF. I WILL COMMIT TO IT THIS WEEK AND WILL UPDATE EVERY WEEK. SAFE!!!

HELLO!!! I WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO LILNICKI AND STORM5. AT LEAST I HAVE SUPPORT SO I AM GOING TO PUSH THROUGH.

DAY 1:
I STAYED ON VERY LITTLE FRUIT AND ENOUGH WATER AND HAD MY MEAL AT 7PM

DAY 2:
I WORKOUT FOR 30MINS (JULIAN MICHEAL 30DAYS SHRED LEVEL 1) AND I TOOK WATER AND LITTLE FRUIT AND HAD MY MEAL AT 7PM.

DAY 3:
 WHICH IS TODAY BEEN 3RD DAY FOR ME, COULDN'T WORKOUT BECAUSE I GOT UP A BIT LATE AND HAD TO GO TO WORK. I HAVE A DESK JOB SO STAYING ON THIS IS OK FOR ME.
SO I AM GOING TO STAY ON LITTLE FRUIT AND WATER AND WILL HAVE MY MEAL BY 7PM, CAN'T WAIT, LOL.
I AM ENCOURAGED BY THE SUPPORT I GOT IN THIS FORUM SO I AM NOT BACKING OUT COS I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS. THANKS ADMIN

Keep it up and add some almonds with fruit so u are getting some protein and fats to help fend off hunger.  You r off to a great start!!!

hi everyone. yesterday was successful for me and stil on it today. im pushing it. BUT I HAVE A CHALLENGE AND I NEED ADVICE. I AM AN ULCER PATIENT AND IF I STAY OF FOOD IT HURTS. SO WHAT DO I DO? IM CONFUSED. I AM SAYING THIS BECAUSE I CAN'T MOVE UP TO STAGE TWO BUT I NEED ADVICE. I WILL LOVE TO MOVE UP TO STAGE TWO AND EVEN STAGE THREE WHEN THE TIME COMES BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE WITH MY ULCER PAINS. I AM OK WITH STAGE ONE COS IT ALLOWS ME TAKE LITTLE FRUIT DURING THE DAY. SO WHAT DO I DO? IT IS REALLY THE ULCER THAT GOT ME THIS FAT ON. SO PLS I NEED ALL THE ADVICE I CAN GET. THANKS

Well, it can be done with an ulcer and did a bit of research for you, according to article on LiveStrong "Fruits you can eat while treating ulcer include apple, peach, berries, pear, banana, melon and kiwi fruit. While it is preferred to take these fruits in their raw forms, you could also steam or juice the"- Carly, 2014

These fruits are safe ones but I would lean towards the berries on this list as their sugar content is lower than the others mentioned.

Now, with proteins, stick with lean red meat on occasion as you know, red meats are harder to digest and increase acid levels in the stomach to break them down.  Stick to fish and chicken to see how those affect you as I have read they are pretty safe for ulcers but obviously your doctor is the best one to speak to.

According to Natural-home remedies.com, again, not a medical site but again, gathering info for you, I found this to work on vegetable portion:

"Here is some wonderful news for those who suffer from stomach ulcers. One can get real help from five of the most common vegetables and fruits like ash gourd, bananas, cabbage, garlic and lime to cure stomach ulcers."

Do your research, invest in your health, and find out which vegetables will work for you

I also started the caveman diet and I have been going for a week. I have found it very easy to follow and adhere to. I had headaches for the first 2 days and it has been plane sailing from there. I will stay on stage one for the 4 weeks but I am looking forward to the next stage.
