Is this diet recommended?
« on: February 23, 2012, 02:33:36 AM »
Hello

I have started it today and for first two weeks intend to snack on fruit and nuts (unsalted), then bang a nice meal out at end. It's going to be tough so some advice and motivation would help me along the way.
I am 15 stone 10, 32 and 6ft. I am going to do the three stages in six weeks, and give up the booze.

I will be training most days with a mixture of cardio and weights.

What should I expect to lose and will this diet, if i stick to it, give me the energy I need?

Thanks - hope i gte a reply.

Welcome and congrats on your decision.

I eat paleo about 98% of the times and have plenty of energy and I'm 53 so you should have no problems.

I'm not big fan of daily workouts unless your talking about slow stuff like walking. I walk every day, weights maybe 3 days a week.

What I did was stayed in stage 2 until I lost most of the weight I wanted. You can drop it fast in stage 2. Hard to say how much in 6 weeks. I lost 24lbs in 8 weeks of stage 2.
Fight apathy, or not.

Well day one got off this start

Two apples, plums and grapes in day, then pasta tuna and cheese in night.

Seems ok. I drink lots of water anyhow, so that is not a problem.

Gym tonight - and then food out!! Staying off booze might be hard!
