On Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to a mental health support group. I called the nurse there today because I needed a refill on one of my meds. I asked if they would stop giving me the lunches, I told her I was on a strict diet. She didn't like the idea and told me they would give me a diabetic meal even though i'm not diabetic. I think I am being too hard on myself.  I cant help it that I don't like my fat body and want it gone asap. I am over exercising and my back hurts cause I have had rods in it since 1990, and I sprang my foot last January, and it just isn't feeling right. I don't eat if i'm not hungry. I don't even like to graze during the day. I think I am a tad bit OCD on loosing weight. What do you all think? Maybe someday someone will answer my posts here.

I am on my 5th day. I also volunteered at  a animal rescue center and  today was my first day there. I left around noon, and was actually hungry after working so I stopped and got me a burger (single patty) and a medium cup of sprite zero.  I kinda feel bloated, I think it was the spite zero. I'm just going to keep on trucking with this new way of eating. I got too much to live for to die a premature death.  I will be glad to get off high blood pressure and high chloresterial medicine.  I struggle with a mental illness, and I don't foresee getting off that medicine any time soon. I hope it doesn't stall my weight loss.

I am on my third day. Yesterday I know my dear wife was concerned, but I am just not hungry. Around noon, my wife brought me a small plate of blueberries, beef jerky, walnuts,and a strawberry.  They were very small portions, and I did eat them. She said I should eat like this 3 or 4 times a day. But i don't think that is grazing right?  Around 5 o'clock I was hungry, and I am even trying to cut back on portions during supper   All three days I have got out in this heat and walked a good hour. I noticed I had some color in my face, and I feel really good.  We are getting a threadmill today, and that will help get my heart rate up.  I am determined and focused, and my wife is even cutting back. I don't see any harm in not eating if i am not hungry. If i was hungry I would graze something.

I started my morning off with 16 ounces of water and a strawberry is all that would fit in my hand, so i ate it! Hi, my name is Richard. and I am 275 pounds. This will be my weight loss journal. I posted on Facebook and have tons of prayer and support, but I need your support too. I cant go it alone. I need all the encouragement and motivation I can get!

Hello all, hope all well we sure are this is our 2 time for this diet, and we are doing great my life has lost 18lbs in 9 weeks and I have lost 39lbs in9 weeks(15lbs was water from to much salt). THIS IS FOR ALL THOSE DOUBTERS OUT THERE THIS DIET WORKS NOT A FAD DIET. Let me give you some back-ground we both attempted this diet 11/2 years ago and were unsuccessful, most of my failure was myself from over confidence and not eating but instead skipping meals and not eating enough.  More or less went to hard to achieve my goal, my wife's failure was from worrying about me and in the mean time gallbladder surgery from poisoning from busted gallbladder but not due to the caveman diet. When the ambulance came and got me off the floor after I blacked out, when I got to the emergency room my wife told them how I had not been eating and about me skipping meals and not eating enough so the first thing was done was IV's then blood work in the mean time I woke up to find myself in the ER, after being dazed and confused the Doctor came looked me in the eye and said how do you feel of course the answer was like a truck ran me over. About an hour later and eating some food not on the caveman diet I started to feel better. The results of the blood work were low potassium, low sugar, low minerals, low iron, low electrolytes, and low blood pressure to go along with everything else and I was severely dehydrated. After spending 2 month in the hospital and gaining 30lbs the Doctor told I could go home but no more diet until I could get all my blood work to normal, 1 year 3 months later I was able to resume My caveman diet in moderation the first month was hit and miss because of worrying about the same result, but this was not the case lost 9 pounds even though I broke stage one rules countless times, the Doctor told me to proceed with the diet but I have to go see him every three months. I post earlier the results and I and my wife are doing great to celebrate our good Doctor report we went to Wendy's to get a hamburger and fries kind of a treat, wrong was that a mistake, lethargic feeling, could not stay out of the bathroom, could not sleep that night, so we will not do that again I promise. that was three weeks ago now we are on Stage two doing well blood pressure for myself 147/85 down to 100/70, Sugar went from 139 to 94 average, blood work is great and cholesterol down 20 points, have more energy, sleep better, less trips to bathroom. My wife blood pressure went from 185/107 to 122 /85, sugar 174 average almost had to go on insulin, nom blood sugar is135big improvement, cholesterol down 38 points, sleeps better less trip to bathroom, more energy, and over all feel better. In closing this is the best thing I have done for my self and for my wife since we have been married 18 years now.

Hey guys.
I'm andrew from Australia and I'm 23 years old coming in at 92kgs. I tried the caveman diet at the start of the year to some success however certain different events led me away from that. I am going to undertake this diet again but I have a goal in mind. To drop 7kgs in 5 weeks as I head out to New Zealand in mid July. But I want to make this a lifetime diet and really change up my views and habits about eating. Speaking  of habits, I like to eat late at night and it's something i can't get rid of. Eating a massive meal full of veggies and protein will really hit the spot and will increase my energy ten fold. Also with exercising I like to ride my bike and gift weights along with throwing a footy around which keeps me moving.
The aim is to get to 85kgs by July 18 and I'll keep you all updated as the days go on.
