I had a feeling something wasn't right....

This is something I have noticed now that you point it out.  I used to be chronicly sleepy after 8, 9, or even 10 hours of sleep.  The last week I have been waking up on 7-8 hours of sleep and been going through the whole day with energy.  And I sleep better too.  MAn I love this lifestyle (don't call it a diet!!)

Thanks, thats good advice.  I'm trying to make this a lifestyle and I used the word diet more as slang than how I view it.  I definately love it, feel beeter, allergies have gone away, energy level is up, and body is looking better.  I was just curious more along the lines of if the brownies would be overall worse for me than the peanutbutter or if the difference is negligble.  And your point, which I like, is that if its rare and far between it doesn't really matter. BUT I felt better about myself with being able to not eat the brownies and just setting them a side.  The best thing though is that when I go out to eat with friends I don't crave the garlic bread, or the french fries anymore.

Food & Diet / Cheat food?

OK so I am at day 7 of going completely cold turkey caveman.  I have been eating hardbiolded egg, bananna, grapes, and almonds for breakfeast.  I snack on almonds, carrot sticks, sweet bell peppers, and grapes (mixed with blueberries) during the day.  I have been eating a decent sized chicken type meal a night (with the exception off Salmon one night).  But today I had a moment of weakness.  A neighbor brought over a fresh pan of Brownies!! I didn't have the heart to turn down the show of kidness.  So there it sat in my kitchen for 10 minutes while I did the antsy pants dance trying to hold myself back.  I ended up wrapping it in tinfoil and calling my friends to come over and eat it for me.  But to deal with my incredible desire for sweets becuase of this I ate a large tablespoon of peanutbutter.

So my question is...would it have been better just to plow into the brownies and make myself sick so that it would possibly kill my desire next time they came around? Or was eating the peanutbutter just as bad??

I'm a deadlift freak myself and here is one I came up with that is a pretty decent cardio killer
225lbs(or whatever is 70%-80% max)x10
225lbs(or whatever is 70%-80% max)x10
225lbs(or whatever is 70%-80% max)x10
225lbs(or whatever is 70%-80% max)x10

Adjust as needed to give you those nice little sparklies in your eyes when your done.  This is for time so you can do it once a week and push yourself harder each time to improve your time.  Also good if you have a workout partner for a good little competition.
