General Discussion / Re: Starting stage 1 today

A little update folks.

First of all I get so much encouragement from reading sleo many new people trying out this diet and lifestyle adjustment.

Ok that's me 4 weeks down the line since I started and I am so happy.

I have no idea how much weight I have lost as that is not that important to me, just looking and feeling better is fine for me.

I have only been on phase 2 for 3 days now but find it really easy to follow. I am at work and just stay at work at lunchtime instead of the canteen and no problems at all.

I do 30minutes on the running machine in the morning and then do a 30 minute walk to work after and everything is going really well

On my 7th day of stage 1 now and i'm amazed that not once have I felt hungry since I started.

Just eating fruit and veg through the day, haven't managed to find unsalted nuts yet, and an ordinary meal in the evening.

I always drink lots of water so that part's easy and i have a cup of green tea in the morning.

I can actually feel smaller already and i'm certain that I won't fall off the track of this.

Thanks for your reply Tony and your warm regards.

On day 4 of stage 1 now and no problems at all.

I am very focused on this and am certain that for once in my life I can do this.

The important thing also I think is that if i do go back into old habits, accept it and get back on track as soon as I can.

Coming on here and reading about so much people trying the same thing as myself is a great encouragement.

On previous diets, i don't know why, but i have been embarassed to tell people that i am on a diet but not now, I really want to be as healthy as I can for being a father.

I have 8 weeks until christmas and would really love to love some weight so going to give this a bash.

I will be at home for the next 3 weeks and then go away to work for the next 4 so thought about doing stage 1 for the 3 weeks at home and move onto stage 2 when i go to work.

Most days I don't have lunch anyway so this shouldn't be a problem for me.

I need to lose a lot of weight, i am about 140 kilos right now but my wife has just fell pregnant and i really want to be thin for when my first child is born.

Any advice is very much welcome
