Advice Column / Back again.
« on: October 29, 2014, 05:13:08 AM »
Hello everyone
I haven't been on for a while but that doesn't mean i have let my diet standards slip. I currently weigh in at approx 214lbs. I am looking to get back on the Caveman wagon and lose a bit more before Christmas comes. Below is a link to my first post which was in April last year. When i started i was 225.2lbs, I went as low as 199lbs and my abs were just starting to come through so thats where i hope to be again in a couple of months. I'm 34 now and the thought of having six pack abs will keep me going, the health benefits of course are amazing too. eating clean natural healthy food every day is great for you so it's a win win. I'll be back soon, i'm just going to boil an egg.

Advice Column / Misleading food labels.
« on: April 23, 2013, 05:01:45 AM »
I'm slightly concerned about the general public.
I have noticed how huge very profitable companies have started labeling their food as 'low in fat' or 'half the calories, 'low in salt/sugar' etc etc etc.
A lot of people then think their getting a better product. Just because a packet of crisps has less salt doesn't mean their good for you. ITS STILL JUNK - JUNK IS JUNK. Paleo is the only good HEALTHY diet i know. And i love the new me, (its a work in progress). How many people have you seen order a burger and fries meal in McDonalds and a diet coke? People need educating. Oh by the way here is a stat for you. "Only 1% of obese people are obese due to a medical condition, the rest are just eating too much." There is no excuse to be fat!! Get off your butt and eat a salad! Rant over. Thank you eveyone. Happy grazing.

Advice Column / Today is my first day.
« on: April 02, 2013, 04:55:42 AM »
Hi everyone, today is my first day on the caveman diet. My girlfriend and i are doing this together.
I weighed myself this morning and i was 225.2lbs, and i am 6'3 tall. According to the BMI calculator i amd 'overweight'. My target weight is to try and hit less than 200. That is just over 2 stone. It's quite a lot to lose, but i am determined to do this. Updates to come in the future....
