I started watching the carbs i ate sticking to the carbs more from fruits and vegietables. I notice a loss in fat especially around my gut. However I also noticed a loss in muscle mass. I understand that carbs are important and often we eat the wrong carbs, but which carbs should i be eating to keep my muscle?

wow thanks everyone :D

For BigKhanz, i'm just looking for a difficult workout that touches most of my muscles. A full body workout some might call it. Also, looking for a challenge to get my heart pumping.

i agree with matt,
you can look as big and powerful as you want but if couldn't chase down your kill or climb up a tree you wouldn't have been around for that long.
Note: this is coming from a guy who has been tall and lean all his life.

Hey everyone,
I'm new as you can see but i have always been into the Caveman philosophy. It's hard for me to do the kinds of workouts that you guys do because I'm in a pretty developed area and there are no real trails near me. However, i do try to ride at least 5 miles on my bike a day (i usually do more) and i have a bench and free weights in back yard. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me to try using my free weights. Any and all ideas and suggestions are useful
Thanks.

Philosophy / Re: Are you true to your biology?
« on: July 27, 2008, 04:06:14 PM »
When the Romans first started to call people barbarians, all it meant was that they did speak the roman language and did not live in the roman empire. However over time the word barbarian became a word of savage and crude people. I believe this happened because of man's natural fear of the unknown. We did not understand the barbarians so we said that they were savages and dumb. The same thing happened when the Europeans explored Africa. They thought the natives were dumb and had no culture. Today, after studying tribes such as the bush men, we see that they are in fact very intelligent, and that their medicine, especially in places like the rain forests in South America, rivals western medicine. Western thinking likes us to think that we are the more intelligent people, but in fact the natives are the people who live the healthiest and probably happiest lives. So i think the natives are far Superior to western culture because the natives are the most true to their biology.
