Title: Day Six Doing the Caveman

Wow where to start.Heard about the Caveman diet from an Edmonton Eskimo's offensive lineman who recently retired,started doing the research and liked what I was seeing and discovering about HUMANS and how we evolved.
Eight years ago I was diagnosed with a hyper thyroid and had it radiated and have been on synthroid daily ever since,and three years ago was hit with type 2 diabetes,no medication as I am border line and my blood sugar is always mid range.The thyroid issue gave me an extra 60 lbs and has been a struggle to get the weight off and keep it off.
I started the caveman diet on Monday and today is Saturday and I am es tactic as I have lost 6lbs in six days and have more energy than I have had in years.
Monday was extremely rough as I found myself starving all day and when I ate supper I had to lay down as I felt like crap and wanted to pass out,but I stuck with it.
From Tuesday on I have felt stronger and have had lots more energy at the end of the day than I have had for it seems like years and the starvation was gone.It must be true about the rush of vitamans and the detox.

I look forward to talking to you all and getting your support in my quest to get back to 200 lbs and living my life again.

Hey Kelly!   Best of luck to you!   are you doing Marks 3 stages or are you just doing, fruits, veggies, nuts and meats?

Have been doing the 3 stages with a twist I guess.Nuts and fruit during the day and for my main meal I have been having a extra large salad with either chicken or salmon.Mixed in a good steak half way through the week which was very tasty and lots of water,so far so good.
