Did u know that the Koala is not a bear... no relation to the bear family. Therefore it`s just called a Koala.

Yes, that is definitely true.

The "Bear" part is derived from the scientific name of the animal "Phascolarctos". "Arctos" means bear in Greek. But still, calling it bear is inaccurate.
