According to this website, if I want to lose a pound a week, I should be eating 173g of carbohydrate every day?

Whenever I use this site to track my daily food consumption, I am under my "Recommended" allowance of calories by about 400, under my "Recommended" carbs - I usually consume about 40g per day from natural sources - should be 173g!! - and over my "Recommended" Fat and Protein by about 5g and 15g respectively.
Yet I'm losing more than a pound a week, or about a pound a week.
Just goes to show how blinkered the world is in regard to what's a healthy diet, and what isn't. And that websites like these simply reinforce bad dietary behaviour.
However, it is quite handy for tracking consumption and finding out where you can add/cut back to balance your natural carb/fat/protein intake.
