I am an extruck driver of 20 years so you can imagine how much exercise I have had in that time and my wife is also and extruck driver so our diet consist of truck stop food and fast food or restaurant food we do very little cooking except fat fried foods. So to make a longer story short what kind of a exercise regiment do you suggest?

Can't beat walking to start off. After that try to find something fun that you both enjoy. Swimming, cycling, etc.

Avoid chronic cardio or stuff that will turn you off exercise. I go thru stages and get bored with some exercises and move on to other activities.

Walking really does work! I also suggest getting some good comfy walking shoes, it made a huge difference for me. Most of the weight I've lost so far has been with walking and the diet. I also did a lot of sitting in from of the computer and was out of shape. I would get winded from going up a few steps when I started back in may. I'm doing a lot better now!

Start slow and steady, and low impact stuff to avoid knee injuries until you build up to doing more. It works to look into the kind of exercises they are doing for older people to start out with because they are going to be low impact, and getting you heart rate up without getting shin splints is win/win.
