So I did two weeks of stage 1 and am now in the third week of stage 2. I defiinetely feel slimmer and look slimmer and I have people who have confirmed this. Though when I weigh myself, I am still the same weight as when I started at around 230lbs. I have lost weight years ago down to 190 and I was only slightly slimmer than I am now. This has been bothering me, any ideas why this is?

same thing is happening to me right now. I have been following stage 2 for a while now (I have lately been going back and forth between stages 3 and 2) and I haven't lost a single pound, though I am getting noticeably thinner.

are you working out at all or are you just following the diet? often times if you are working out (weight training especially) you may never lose any weight (muscle weighs more than fat) but will get thinner. when I was at my peak I was 130lbs but I was wearing size 6 (womans) jeans, which is fairly slim.

Hi
I've been doing this for 3 weeks now and have lost just 4 lbs and to be honest don 't need to lose a lot of weight. However, I do LOOK and FEEL a lot thinner than the 4lbs that I have lost and people have told me this and my clothes are showing this as well so it certainly seems that even without a great weight loss your body does shrink.

I am really pleased with my progress and as I suffer with Arthritis and take medication and have to take these with food I have adapted the diet slightly to suit me and it is still working.

I am feeling really positive and hope that in the long run it will help with reducing the pain with my Arthritis as well.

All the best

I have been doing some reading and I'm starting to think that the weight has something to do with the body actually storing some of the food. This is to prevent starvation like for the paleos and such. It would make sense that the body stores food and that's why the weight stays on, though it doesn't seem to be stored as fat.
