Hey everyone,
I'm just finishing up on week 3 and I wanted to thank everyone for their helpful posts, and a HUGE thank you to Matt. I started Day 1 at 233 pounds, and I just got weighed at the doctors office 3 days ago. I'm' already down to 212 pounds, all of it lost thanks to Caveman Power. I haven't been following the diet 100%, but now that I have seen such amazing results, Stage 2 will be followed much more strictly. I am a regular at the gym, focusing on cardio and strength training.

Again, thanks to everyone who posts helpful thoughts and ideas. I haven't looked this good since my days in the Army.

I hope I can achieve something similar!

Gwynn1975 what was your food timetable for the 3 weeks? What were you eating during the day and how much water was you getting through?

Desi,
My routine is like this:
1 20oz bottle of water as soon as I wake up (before the bathroom even)

Graze on raw almonds, carrots, strawberries, celery, grapes, and other various fruits and veggies throughout the day.

I will drink about a gallon of water by 1:00 in the afternoon.

My feast is usually grilled chicken or steak with veggies. (brocoli, califlower, carrots.)

I go to the gym and work on cardio and weight training before my feast.

By bedtime, I will drink atleast 1 1/2 gallons of water.

Hope this helps.. Good luck.

Quick update:

Middle of week 4 and I'm down to 207lbs.

Thanks again to everyone and their support and encouraging words.

BTW: When will the loose skin from weight loss start to tighten up around my body?

Desi,
My routine is like this:

I go to the gym and work on cardio and weight training before my feast.

Me too, from all the reading I've done on primal lifestyle that's the best time for exercising. Really gets the growth hormones pumping. I might take a walk after a meal but who would want to sprint or do situps on a full stomach???
