My *3 minute challenge* is pretty simple. I just want to do burpees as they're the best indication of total body fitness. I may add other excersises in the future though. But for now, I'm sticking to burpees. My goal is to do 100 burpees in less than ten minutes.

Tues 10th july-
30 burpees

Matt Emery,

Did you do all the events together? I can do probably two events with high results, but I am pretty sure the third one will be just a grunt, (smiling).

I saw the workouts and wanted to see how I can manage; I did 12 muscle ups (3 sets of 4, 1 minute break), 17 dips, and 23 pull ups. All you veterans out there, is that a good start or not. This summer is my 1st time toward crossfit. I started the diet with workouts on March 23rd 2011. Please let me know, I want to be able to beat Matt's record..and I will film it..(smiling).

Matt is a genius!!! This lifestyle is what I have been searching for!

Are you doing the dips from a bench, heels on the ground, or suspended?

Heya,

I'm definately not the fittest person on earth (far from it actually with my 114kg frame), but I gave this a go. I didn't have the ability or resources to do a couple of the suggested workouts, so I did the following;

Pushups - 35
Dips - 60 (using my coffee table with my heels on the ground)
Situps - 57
Squats - 60

I'll try this again in a month (maybe with burpees  Grin ) and see how I go  Smiley

I thought I'd give you my results hot from the floor, where I'm currently collapsed in a sweaty heap!

Push Ups - 38
Squats (no weight, thighs parallel to floor, bottom going backwards) - 73
Sit ups - 41
Dips 33
Burpees - 25

I'm going to do them again in a week or so in reverse order to see whether the results differ much as I was pretty exhausted by the time I got to dips and burpees - which, I have to say, are the Devil's exercise!!  Undecided

Disappointed I let myself get so out of shape. I used to be able to do over 100 sit ups in 3 minutes.
A few minutes ago, all I managed was 60 in 3 minutes Sad
Will keep it up everyday and record my results again next week.
Going to do some dips and stuff now... after some water!

If you did these exercizes one after the other non stop, it would be similar to army circuit training.  There are a couple of different things here, but you get the picture
