Good afternoon cavedwellers,
                    
So, I'm a physically active Marine living out in the deserts of southern California that has been unknowingly participating in stage 1 for quite some time.  I usually wake up in the morning, pound a glass of water and get my exercise etc.  Throughout the day I would graze lightly on nuts and seeds and after exercising some more, feast on healthy food in the evenings (primarily salad and chicken.)  I was referred to the site by a fellow Marine and (starting today) have leaped right into stage 2.  I am concerned about vitamin and supplement absorption though.  If I want to get my daily vitamin intake (garlic, grapeseed, fish oil etc) what will my vitamins attach themselves to?  I may have messed up stage 2 already because I munched on some unsalted almonds before I took my vitamins and supplements this morning (roughly a handful) so that there would be something in my gut for the vitamins to attach to.  Is there a workaround for vitamin intake during stage 2?  If so, I can't find and I've already sifted through the forums.  I just want to ensure I start off on the right foot and if need be, I can cut out the vitamins all together.
