Hello Caveman Power,

Today marks the first day of my Caveman Power experience.  I'm new to the diet, but I've done the circuit training off and on for a little while now, so the Caveman Power should flow well with me.  I'd also like this thread to be my progress / log / tip receiving thread, if that's okay.  About a week ago, I found this site and I thought that it was exactly what I have been looking for.  I'm not going to go into detail on the diet, as I feel that it is pretty straightforward.  But what I'd like to do is document my exercises and maybe even share some tips, if that is possible.

This afternoon, I plan on doing the circuit training.  I've planned to do the following workout.  I've named these exercises the best I could, and they could probably use some correcting, if you guys wouldn't mind.  My circuit training is a little bit different than most, and I will try to explain accordingly.  Essentially, I perform what I call a stationary exercise then immediately transition to a mobile one, to go to the next stationary one.

- Box jumps (while holding plates, hop onto an object then back down) - 10# plates with 20 reps or hops
- Power Toss (grab an object and squat.  In one motion, I will come up, jump, and toss the object as far as possible) - 10# plate
- Clean and Press (standard) - barbell set @ 65# with 10 reps
- Fireman's Carry (place the barbell on my shoulders and walk) - barbell set @ 65#
- Pushup Rows (or man-makers as referred to by Matt) - 2 dumbells @ 20# ea with 5 reps each side
- Farmer's Carry (carry the dumbells) - 2 dumbells @ 20# ea
- Overhead Squat and Press (hold the object just over my head and perform a squat, as the squat peaks, I press the object upwards) - 2 dumbells @ 20# ea with 10 reps
- Drag Sled (pulling a rope loaded with weights) - 2 45# plates
- Hammer (smacking a spare tire with a sledgehammer) - um, a sledgehammer and a tire with 10 reps each arm

These workouts are designed so that I can generally use the same equipment for the mobile exercise that I do with the stationary one.  After one circuit is complete, I will rest for a couple of minutes, reset everything, then repeat.  The stationary exercises will have set reps and I will attempt to complete the circuit as quickly as possible.

Tomorrow, I will try to document the workout with times.  I will also notify you guys as to how my previous day went with the diet.

Wish me luck,
Stone

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
