Hello-
I started on the 16th at 179lb and I am now 174.3lb Yahoo! I am very excited I am 38 and have 2 boys 8 and 10. I work at Costco giving samples and it's easy to eat and not think it. I have always had no willpower to stick to anything and I love my carbs. Keep me posted on how you are doing I need the motivation. I do say I get on the scale and that is exciting it gets me to the gym because I always wonder if I ate to much for dinner. I really look forward to my meal and I need to give up my diet soda in the evenings when I am watching my shows. It has no calories but I am sure the cave man would not approve HEHE!

Hi there! I am 40, and I will be starting tomorrow also.

I do need to lose a lot of weight (more than 50 pounds by a long shot), but my main motivation is that I am looking for a way to eat that will make me feel better, and having experimented with this plan last week for a few days, I think it will do the trick.

Cool, now go have a steak or 1/2 a chicken. Or some nice bacon and eggs.

I am not giving up coffee but I did give up diet soda and I  have lost 5lb this week. I do drink a lot of water. I went to Barnes to find a cookbook anf found the paleo diet. I read they don't eat a lot of eggs. I want to find a good cookbook. can I have more than oil and vinegar? I want to have variety.
