I have had a really up and down time in Stage 1. It's pretty clear to me that I feel a lot better eating the caveman way, when I've done that, and I feel a lot worse when I go on a junk food binge, since I've done that a few times this week.  Sad

I am leaving to go to my mom's house on Monday (4/4) and I'll be there all week. She's low-fat (Ornish) fanatic, and very opinionated on the subject of diet, so I am pretty much taking the week off. The good news is that I might counterbalance some of the slip-ups I've had this week with a pretty low calorie week then, not because the food is so low calorie, but because it is just awful.  (My mom was a pretty good cook when I was growing up, but now... yuck.)

So, when I get back, I am going to jump into Stage 2 with both feet. I am really looking forward to it. Wish me luck! I am embarrassed to say it, but I am 320 pounds at 5' 6" (down from 326 when I started though!), so I have a lot of work ahead of me.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
