I just started stage 2, I'm about a week in now. What I realized in stage 1 was that my metabolism was extremely active because of the constant grazing and I managed to lose some weight. Now that I'm in stage 2 my weight loss has stopped, I think this is because I am not grazing during the day and my metabolism has stopped. Any thoughts?

It is a fallacy that a typical person's metabolism slows down after only a few hours without eating. Could you be "over-feasting" at the end of the day, in terms of total calories, macronutrient ratios (i.e., too many carbs), etc.?

Well I have definetely cut down on the junk after stage 1. My typical meal consists of grilled meat or fish, some vegetable salad, and I like to end my meal with a bit of dessert such as pie. Occasionally my meal is substituted with about 4 rolls of sushi. Sometimes I eat until im full but sometimes I feel a bit overfilled. Do you think the problem is overeating, the desserts, or something else?
As an additional note, I was staying away from sweets until I checked my glucose levels in urine and found them to be negative. So in order to balance things out I started eating the desserts.

Glucose is not normally found in the urine, so a "negative" result when checking for it is a good thing.
I really can't say what's caused your weight loss to halt, as there are too many possible variables. You could be gaining muscle, or better hydrated than before, or perhaps you've just reached a temporary plateau. Listen to your body. Eat the right stuff, only when you're truly hungry, and only until satisfied (but not "full"). Drink plenty of water. Exercise. Form will follow function.

What pie are you eating in stage 2?......I agree that the shouldn't be any glucose in your urine anyway, so not sure why you feel the need to check it and then eat sweet things???
Check the size of your portions..... A huge pile will be too much..... A fist size is just about right?

Sorry about the glucose mix up and thank you for verifying. The pie I normally eat is wild blueberry. I purchase it in an all organic supermarket so I assume the quality is good. I think I will cut down on the sweets and lower my meal size. Thank you for the input and any more advice would be much appreciated.

Is there pastry on the pie??....... if so then that's certainly not paleo as it's made with flour.......remember no grains.
Can i ask if you are diabetic??
