I went to a local spice company and had a spice mix made up with no salt and it works well on meats and veggies, it is a custom blend of spices and herbs.

I am a big believer in making your own spice mixes for several reasons.

1. it's cheaper
2. you know what is in there ( most of the store bought ones are mostly salt)
3. you learn more about your food and learn what spices go together, and so you can turn your dinner in to a science experiment.
4. you can start to appreciate fresh ground spices, and herbs.
5. you can start to grow your own herbs, and spices (spices are harder because you have to dry them and do a lot more work)

Enjoy spices enjoy the world, now a days you can get any spice you want without too much hassle so take advantage of it.
