I cant, its not that easy, but I im asking if I can smoke while stage one? Would it hurt the diet or prolong the process of getting to stage two?

I wouldn't have thought it would change the timings of the stages at all..... but by stage 3 they should be gone altogether really. At the end of the day it's your choice of course Smiley

The cancer patients where I work roll their kemo bags outside to have their nightly smokes, very sad.

Of course everyone is anti-cigarette, and of course they're bad for you. But as a fellow smoker, let me give you some straight-up as best I can. Smoking heavily is gonna make it harder for you to exercise, obviously, which is a bad thing for any diet. Other than that, I understand that it's not an easy thing just to "quit smoking, jackass". When I was in training for womens' boxing, I lied to my trainer and told him I had quit. I cut down to a pack a week, and was still able to run 5 miles a day and do 10 3 minute hard rounds on the heavy bag. He believed me that I had quit, until I got careless and he started smelling it on me. Anyways, my point is that of course it's going to adversely affect any diet of exercise regime. But many people handle substances differently, and some can continue to smoke and/or drink moderately and still experience good results from a diet and/or exercise thing. They might not get as good results as a non-smoker, but it's better than nothing. You just gotta know your body and moderate your intake of such substances, as well as be realistic about the results you're expecting.
