I agree you need to have a little cheat once in a while, nobody can stick to a new diet 100%.  (Especially at first!)

I too tried eating raw for a while (a couple of years ago), and although I felt better than on a standard diet, I found it really difficult during the frozen days of winter just eating raw and cold all the time.   Sad

Although I'm a pescetarian, I'm finding the caveman diet soooo much easier to handle yet I still feel every bit as good as when eating raw.
Luvvin' it !!!

Personally, I define grazing as don't let yourself get hunger pangs.  Eat just enough to stave them off.
I'm starting my fourth week of stage 1, and I've lost so much weight already that I think I'll just vary this stage with an odd day of stage two here and there before moving on to stage 3.
WOW I'll soon look like my avatar !!  Cheesy

If coffee is your only vice then it's a pretty small one - though people will say it plays havoc with your mood etc. I think you can choose to be really strict, which I respect and admire, or you can take a bit more of the middle path. I drink coffee and wine and have still lost 8kgs in 2 months. These are both simple pleasures that I aim to continue having.

Catrina, Would you please give me a good recipe for the jerky you are making.  I am starting this new way of eating on saturday and I love jerky.  I think this will help alot.  Thanks, Pbgirl - Amanda

My portion sizes are smaller but I need to look at the content, more veg which I grow and love especially broccoli and other greens.

When I was doing stage 2 a typical feast would be something like 1/2 a steak -or- a fish(not a chicken eater), some sauteed mushrooms -or- onions, a veggie side dish -or- sauerkraut -or- salad, and maybe 1/4 cup of fruit. I didn't eat many nuts in stage 2.

Bacon wrapped shrimp make a good feast meal main disk too  Cheesy

I think it's easy to go overboard on nuts. Early man didn't eat them 12 months a year.

I never knew how much a habit eating food was till I started this !!  As a foodie I loved everything  and anything at anytime and it's very habit forming. I found this the hardest thing to break and if I am honest, still do!! I work long hours sometimes out side and it's comfort food to me so, life is tough!! I find most days I feel hungry, well I think I do, but really it's just a habit thing in my mind.
Stick with it, I found that grazing, even if it appears a lot of nuts did help and I just reduced my intake every couple of days, drink pleany of water. I am no expert and I say, it's not a diet, it's a way of life!
Good luck and stick with it.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
