Hello All,
I am on day 5 of phase one.  40 y/o Male, 200lbs looking to get to 175 and back in marathon shape.
During the day today  I was fine and have been pretty good all week. Today I grazed on one apple, banana, handful of nuts (pecans and cashews unsalted) Then went for a 3 mile run.

For the feast:
Salad- lettuce with  Lt dressing
Sole - pan cooked w/ a little olive oil mushrooms/ lemon  and capers
Brown Rice
Stream fresh veggies.
An hour after eating the feast I had a few nuts, followed by a lot more nuts and fresh blackberries.   Even though I feel full I am still craving food.   Has this happened to others?  Am i doing something incorrect or missing something?

I drink A TON of water, so  I do not think my hunger is a dehydration issue. (Clear P Smiley  Any thoughts?

I don't see anything wrong for stage 1.

It's a big switch if you were eating 3 big meals a day to suddenly only be eating one meal and some light grazing. Fish is really good for us but not the most filling meal I can think of. That may have something to do with it too.

PS What kind of salad???

I don't even buy Iceburg, there's nothing in it. Look for a romaine/spinach mix. Then add whatever toppings you enjoy. I add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and peppers. Some sliced carrots and cucumbers occassionally. Also make sure your not buying fat-free dressing, or dressing with high fructose corn syrup listed as ingredent.

Poor value of Iceburg...

Thank you for the feedback.  I'm on day 8 and still going strong.   As I gravitate towards a healthy broad diet based on plants and lean proteins my energy levels and clarity really have improved.

One of the issues I had to overcome on week one was eating too little for the feast.   It was difficult to comprehend diet vs. lifestyle food change.  Feeling much better this week.

Don't feel like you need to have lean meat all the time either. You don't want to go crazy but fat is a good thing. Have some bacon, a nicely marbled steak, some fatty brisket. Your brain will love you for it. There's good calories and bad calories. Fat is a good calorie.

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
