Should I consume anything before I workout? what about a protein shake after workout?  Should I take a multivitamin?

Give the protein shakes a miss.... they really are too processed...... have some protein like a boiled egg, piece of cooked meat, or some nuts/ and/ or a banana........ eat a little just before excercising, and a bit more after.
