Hi All
My wife and I have decided to loose the weight for both ourselves and for our young son.
We have been on stage one for a week now (yep started on the 01/01/12)and we are finding it easy to follow, we snack on raw nuts and a little fresh fruit, and eat what we want at dinner(fresh chicken lean beef salad etc:)
The thing is we have not lost anyweight we both feel better and not bloated like we did but the scales don't seam to have changed?
Is this normal or are we doing something wrong?
We would appreciate any advice you could give.
With Thanks
Matt & Sophie

Mostly the weight loss comes at stage 2, but if it's not happening when you reach that stage, take a look at your portion sizes....... remember your stomach should be the size of your fist..... if the food on your plate looks more than that, it's too much.

Hi Nicki
Thanks for your reply. Good news we both jumped on the scales this morning to find that I (Matt ) have lost over 3kg & Soph has lost 2kg.
So we are both feeling better now that we have seen some weight loss,as for our portions we will do as you have mentioned and make sure that we cut back.
Once again thanks for you advice. Will will keep you posted lol watch this space ......

Hi...I'm just finishing my first week.  Congrats on losing weight.  Have you been exercising too?  I joined a gym in August and found exercising alone is not enough. We really need both the exercise and healthy eating.

Previously, my mindset was not right for dieting because I dislike having to constantly think of what I am allowed to eat next.  I am also definitely carb sensitive.  My trainer introduced me to this diet and I love it.  The grazing is definitely for me.  Lost about 2 lbs. at my last weigh in.  Best of luck to you both.  Your setting a wonderful example for your son.

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
