Just put onto this website by a friend..and am excited by the content.

Last year I was passing through Sydney Airport and wandered into the bookshop there and found a book called "Manthropology - The Science of The Inadequate Modern Male" by Peter McAllister. Has an interesting cartoon on the cover which is basically the evolution of man like in the top right of this page - but it has another of a modern man hunched over in an office chair tapping away on his mobile phone.

I bought it and found it a great read to learn to the differences between what our ancestors were capable of and what we are. Kind-of depressing really to know that a small Neanderthal woman could snap me in half!

Anyway it was a great read and I highly recommend it.

It motivated me to rejoin the gym a year ago with two mates and we do sort of a combination between Gym Jones style workouts and crossfit. We occasionally use a squat rack but most of the time we never touch the traditional weights gear. We have made great fitness gains but have struggled to get lean.

So we have stumbled onto this website and will now add another string to our caveman bow...It seems to make perfect sense to me. Most carbs give me indigestion and despite all the advice over the years I just can't bring myself to eat a breakfast. I naturally want to fast till at least midday. Always have done even when a kid but most of the popular press says you have to eat a carb breakfast for energy.

Starting on this tomorrow and looking forward to finding something that makes me feel better.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
