Hi I'm new to this. However I'm surprised how much of it corresponds with the training I received to be a Survival Instructor in the Army. In the instance of foods available coincide with the foods we were told to look for/ hunt.

This lifestyle choice people on this site have made is a big step in the modern world of fast food. I prefer fresh fruit and vegetables in season and produced as locally as you can get them. Also I am not afraid to do the Kill, Cook and Eat thing, as I have done on many occasions(Once in a 5 week survival situation).

I was thinking what are people planning on doing in the winter now it is autumn and the nights are drawing in?

This winter I'm learning how to make Boomerangs and refining my homemade fishing lures. I am also planning my window box garden for next spring. If anyone has any suggestions for herbs/ vegetables/ medicinal plants that can be grown like this, please feel free to tell me.

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
