Hey everyone! We're going caveman tomorrow - we have a couple of questions.

1. We're starting with stage one, when we eat our feast for dinner...then get hungry again, are we supposed to graze only...or are we not to eat until the next morning?

2. Any advice on getting thru the first 4 weeks of stage one?

thanks,
Mike

if you have grazed all day and are eating your feast at night then you probably should drink some water and call it a night if you get hungry. however if you eat your feast in the morning you would graze all day afterwards and same for if your feast is in the middle of the day, you would graze in the morning and then graze at night after your fest.  I only say this because it would make sense to graze for a certain amount of hours a day  and if you graze after your feast at night even though you have grazed all day you are grazing longer than necessary. However some people feel that if they are hungry then they should eat but i think that should only apply if you are getting headaches from not eating enough or if you have some kind of medical disorder such as diabetes.

maybe ya'll should try to graze more during the day and add more calories to your feast, this may help keep you hungry longer.

I hope this helps!  Cheesy

I'm halfway through week 2 and I can honestly say the first week is the hardest. The first day I head a headache (from either my body withdrawing from processed sugar or concentrating so hard on eating nuts) but your body will adjust.  On day 7 I had a minnie meltdown becuase you've got to be so tough mentally and physically.

To help myself with this, I started writing in a journal. Anything that came into my head I wrote down as well as any accomplishments (I managed to last until 2pm today before haveing something to eat, so I'll soon be in the right headspace to start Stage 2).

I also bought myself a webcam. Once a week I do a video log and just talk about things with this diet and also my fitness. I don't publish the videos on the web, just for my eyes to see. The webcam might not be for you, as I am doing this alone.

As long as you've got the support and willpower to help you, you'll be fine   Smiley

@Ebonitis - Today marks the start of week 2...it's not too bad actually. I agree with the headaches though - mine lasted 3 days but there gone now. I think my g/f's going to go the 4 weeks till stage 2 - as for me - - I'm starting that bad boy on Monday!

@SidheDraoi - Question, on the weekend's I emcee/host at the clubs - now before hitting the club - I'd have coffee or an energy drink. (I don't drink alcohol) Can I drink coffee to get me thru the night?

I haven't had a problem with being hungry after the feast, even when I feasted at 2pm. I had a headache for the first three days. I stuck to the plan all week, then I fell off the wagon this weekend. Back on board as of today and have to start the headache thing all over again. Ugh. Good luck!
