Hi All,

I have been inspired to begin a paleo based diet ... and being an aussie I decided to follow Matt's plan. I have been reading up on paleo and raw food ... I am not interested in ending my relationship with meat so Paleo it will be. I must admit the caveman power diet goes against everything I have ever been taught ... so I expect there will be some time adjustment. I thought I would do a blog style entry thing on here, I have always found it helpful too read someone elses journey with different things and I hope by doing this it will help someone else out too. I am going to start on Phase 1 - not sure about this eat whatever you want thing for dinner but I am going to do it and see where the path leads me. I will try to log in daily if not every 2nd night to update on my caveman lifestyle and getting uber healthy.

Just a quick question - what "fruit" is best to eat during the day ... eg bananas etc

Depends a little bit on whether you are do this lifestyle to lose weight or just because you want to eat healthily. If you need to lose weight, dont have too much fruit thats high in sugar like apples........If like me weight isn't an issue, then eat what you like, though berries are a good choice as they have lots of anti-oxidants.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
