Ok I really dont have a question, per se, just wanted to say I am new to the caveman community and as a marathoner and Iroman so far I want to say it is leaps and bounds with so many positives in my life since I stared. I began the diet 3 weeks ago and so far I have lost 6 pounds and my energy level day to day is up easily 100% from before. I dont feel the need to take a nap at lunch every day and because I "hunt and gather" it stimulates my brain and forces me to cook more exciting foods. From something simple like Chicken and Veggies to Spaghetti with meat sauce (using spaghetti squash and chopped tomatoes instead of pasta and sauce) the food I eat just manages to taste better...to the point where I ate some chips and queso last night at dinner and was just turned off by the taste! I do feel hungrier a bit more at times but the grazing on some fruit and almonds or strawberries (or frozen grapes) usually does the job. I am confident that even when I get up there on my biking/running miles again I can be able to perform without the use of grains or pastas (was thinking just doing sweet potatoes or potatoes instead. Thoughts?)

In closing just wanted to say im happy to be part of the community and as an endurance athlete/former US Marine this all seems to work hand in hand with who I am and what we do. I look forward to the conversations on the forum from here on out! Cheers.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
