Thursday and Friday are my days off work. So I spend as much time as possible outside and I avoid the computer. That's why I have not been on-line for a couple days. I spent most of the day yesterday riding my motorcycle in the foothills. A day out on a speed bike is just good for the heart and mind

All is going well with the diet. I did eat a half of a turkey sandwich while on the the road yesterday. But 1 slice of bread couldn't hurt. I exercised for an extra 30 minutes today to make up for it.  |

Feeling good today. I went for a bike ride with my wife along the river and we found a small tortoise that was sun bathing on the bike trail. We handled it for a bit and placed it off to side so it wouldn't get hit. We observed countless Canadian Geese and a large Red Tail Hawk hunting in the fields surrounding the trail.

that happens to me too! sometimes the smell is just enough to make you feel full... atleast it does for me..  I went by a oriental food market today and smelt grilled squid... oh man that was a beautiful smell... so i bought some and thats whats for dinner  |

LOL! Whats easier than stealing candy from a baby? Selling it to a child! Wait... that's not funny.
On the brighter side of the news I have started running barefooted. For now I am doing this on my tread mill but once I build up my foot strength a bit I will take them out into the wild.
I have seen some shoes that claim to be very close to running barefooted. Has anybody tried these? If so - What brand and are they worth the money?

My weight seems to be leveling out this week. I have been sitting at 182lbs for a few days now. I think I may be gaining muscle weight that is offsetting my fat loss. I have been doing pushups and situps every day for about 5 days now and I can feel the difference already.

I will finally be able to join the living! After 9 years of working graveyard and swing shift I am finally getting a day shift. (07:30 to 16:00) I was starting to think I would have to live like a vampire for the rest of my life. |

My Tegu Lizard is always begging me for food so I started giving him beef heart in his usual food mix, he loves it, not to mention keeping him healthy! |

Did you just go straight to phase 3? Yea pretty much on stage 3 from the beginning. I do not eat breakfast or lunch. I drink a glass of water when I wake up. I eat about a half a cup of nuts thought the day and one fruit (Avocado or Bannana usually sometimes a black plum) For dinner I usually prepair one skinless chicken breast stir fried in extra virgin olive oil with 1 carrot, a large bunch of broccoli and dried hot chili peppers. I try to have beef for dinner at least one or two nights a week. I have been drinking mainly water but I sometimes drink waterdowned cranberry juice or tea. |

I started with phase 1 and I am still on it until next week. i am looking for the challege and connection within myself for phase 2. I am looking forward to Phase 3 but I wanted to follow phases

I wish you luck in your challenge. I myself was losing to much weight to fast on phase one to want to risk not eating anything thought the day. I did not want to risk getting a fatty liver so I am taking it nice and slow. You could say that I am still on phase on but I the things I want to eat to reward myself just happen to be Paleo foods. |
