Hi Guys and gals, new on here. Question - I have degenerative hip disease from playing Australian Rules Football for many years.

Whilst this doesn't totally restrict me, it can, at times, prematurely end any cardio that I am doing due to discomfort.

Swimming and cycling aside (already doing that), does anyone have any further suggestions on non-impactual cardio that I could try?

Thanks in advance.

Heavybag training is, in my opinion, an unparalleled form of cardiovascular conditioning.  While not "non-impactual," at least the impact is primarily focused on the upper body.  If the impact of actually hitting a bag is too much, you might give shadow boxing a try.

Thanks Tony,

The bag is hanging out in the shed, I'll be sure to return to it!

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
