When I'm asked what religion I am I normally say undecided. This somewhat nonchalent answer normally yeilds an opposed reaction. I gained allot of attention when I gave this answer to a group of young christians at uni, the thought undicided meant that I had no idea of religion and that I was an automatic candidate for their style of beliefs. In indonesia it's actually against the law to be undecided, that's why the majority religion is islam but most people practice their own animistic beliefs. My mother is balinese hindu (different to conventional hinduism) and my father is catholic. My little brother and I are both undecided because our parents believe which religious denomination we wish to align with is our decicion. Oh and wehn I say undecided I don't mean to say we are atheists. I myself do believe in a higher power, a god or gods if you will, and I firmly believe in karma. I also have a strong belief in respect for humanity, i.e. one may do what they want aslong as it doesn't impede on anothers right to do so, I also have a very strong sense of justice, probably due to my belief in karma.
What I don't believe in is religion as a concept because religion is not one of god's design but man's, and man has far too many flaws, and far too little a scope to hold such great a power as religion.
While there's no 'I' in 'team'. There's 'me' in 'good times'.

Hmmmm, perhaps I should consider Pascals' Wager http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal%27s_Wager  ;)

If you don't believe in God in the first place, wouldn't deciding to believe in him just to be on the safe side be feigning belief in God?  If you also believe that God is omniscient he'd see right through that facade.   What would God (if it exists) value more, dishonestly faked belief, or honest scepticism?

There is no possible correct answer to that question.

Your Results:

The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.

Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

How did the Belief-O-Matic do? Discuss your results on our message boards.

I don't exactly believe in a particular religion, I think spirituality is far too personal to be specified under one common belief or set of beliefs.

If you need me I'll be casting a spell or two ::)
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
