New with questions
« on: August 18, 2015, 04:54:43 PM »
I started the caveman 5 days ago and dropped 8 lbs immediately. I've been working out for over half a year but only loss 7 lbs. I've went from 260 to 253.

I lift weights and do hit cardio. I recently started having 2-3 eggs when I do my weightlifting in the morning, every other day. Should I not eat the eggs and only graze starting out?

I mainly eat it for the protein in my weight lifting. Thanks

I would honestly say stick to the Phase 1 program for as long as you can.  I know it is ideal to get the protein in your body right after working out; however you can eat a protein rich dinner to help offset this a little.  I have done this diet many years back and I went into it knowing I was going to lose a little energy and gains when it came to the gym.  On the other side of it though my overall health increased and it was just a trade off. Once  you get to phase 3 you will be able to consume the animal protein after your workout and your body will respond pretty amazingly to this and you will get all your gains back.

Just my thought on the question.
