It is 4:oopm and I'm miserable.  All I think about is food.  I am no where near where most of u all are.  All I have had today is:  a handful of brazil nuts, 2 glasses of water, a cup of coffee and a yogurt.  I gave in at 3 something and had a piece of thin crust pepperoni pizza.    Angry
Now for dinner my husband wants hamburger helper and a salad.  Doesn't sound too bad......but........    Embarrassed

I don't think this is right???

easy fixes easy fixes!  the fatigue will be there during stage 1, because you are essentially fasting. but I can say that coffee will only contribute to the fatigue because you will crash after a while, so I would try to keep away from coffee until you are in the later stages, even then I wouldnt drink it but every so often.

if husband isnt going to follow you on your diet then you need to learn how to work around it.. aka: make a separate meal for yourself or try to convert the meal that you are making into a paleo friendly meal.  what i would do in your situation is brown the beef and set some aside for yourself, and put your beef on your salad and create a taco salad or something from it, just add salsa and of course some olive oil (you need those fatty acids!) and have that as your meal, rather than eating the hamburger helper. one thing about being paleo is that you also have to be very crafty because people and situations will make it difficult to stay on track. my family is like this, they always eat pasta... always! and they want me to come over at least once a week to have dinner and i have to be crafty and work around the pasta and grains so i don't end up feeling like a pile of ick later on, of course they look at me strange and often criticize me saying "just eat the pasta it wont kill you!" and all i have to say to that is "no, it wont kill me but it gives me terrible heartburn and i feel like crap for the rest of the day so no thank you". family is a tough obstacle to overcome.... but you learn to deal with it and work past it.

keep working at it and stay on track! best of luck to you!

I put hamburger in a bowl, ate it, and drank the delicious fat. The fat almost tasted sweet. Do that.

How big were the cups of water ? You should be aiming to drink 1.5 - 2L of water per day. This will probably help with hunger pangs and may even be causing them if you don't drink enough  Wink

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
