Unfortunately yes. The recommendation of 6-12 serves of breads and cereals is just ridiculous. Mmmm diabetes....it's what's for lunch.

I've always suspected that 'The Food Pyramid' is based on pragmatism, rather than nutrition - or a combination of the two. In other words, they won't illustrate veges/meats in greater amounts because they tend to more expensive for the householder. If my suspicion is correct, I would like them to make two (or more) unique pyramids; a 'Pragmatic Pyramid', and a 'Nutritional Pyramid'.

The food pyramid is a joke. Why would I eat eggs fish and meat in moderation? I eat plenty of eggs and I'd bet I'm a whole lot healthier than most doctors. Ditch this crap.

This guy advertises here in the states, for Quaker Oatmeal, and he's the spokesman for Liberty Medical where he talks at length about his "diabeetus" medicine. Oatmeal rots your brain, too.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Are you refering to the doctors that 'smoke camels?' lol. These pics are blowing my mind, and we wonder why humans as a whole are having issues w/ diabetes, obesity, hypertemsion, etc.

You have to love the way they use the words light and active. Its almost like there trying to insinuate that cola provides the energy of youth while helping you lose weight. You also have to like the way they use sex appeal to draw you into the add.

The man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war, and afterward he turns his rifle in at the armory and believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle and the power the rifle proffered. The cold weight, the buttstock in the shoulder, the sexy slope and fall of the trigger guard. - Anthony Swofford...
