OK, going along on 100% paleo for 3 months; was in ketosis and burning/losing fat - all was well.
Then had a couple days where I ate non-paleo foods (ice cream and cake). How much damage was done? DId I then totally stop burning fat and go back to how it was before I started Paleo? How long does it then take to turn things back around again and start burning only fat again?
I read that people have cheat days, and guess that is what I did, too, but just wondering how long it takes for my body to go back to where it was before the cheat??

I wouldn't think a weekend of cheating would make much difference in the long run.

You might look for better "cheats" thou. For me if I'm going to cheat I go for quality Mexican or Chinese foods normally banned on my diet. I tried cheating with Italian once and suffered for a couple days. I think that was like a year ago. Life changing things are things we do with regularity. I guess I cheat about twice a month but try not to go on sugar binges  Grin

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
