I've been on the caveman diet for a little over 2 weeks, still in Stage 1 for another week then moving on to Stage 2. I've lost 12 lbs in two weeks and I no longer have sugar and carb cravings which is great!!!!..

My question is regarding Stage 2, how is eating 1 meal a day healthy and how is it helping accelerate weight loss? My total goal is to lose 62 lbs and I am on my weigh there, I have 50 lbs to go..

Hi Dan, if you can't just eat one meal a day then just graze on the proper foods and eat a feast of proper foods and you will lose weight I am still on stage 2 and only fast once in a while I didn't feel good not eating all day, just do what works for you, if you are eating the caveman way you will still lose.

It will teach you that the amount of food you think you need is not what your body needs/wants. You will appreciate good food more and respect your body. There are many more benefits but I won't ruin the ending for you  Grin

Thanks for the info. I definitely feel much better since I started the Caveman diet. A friend of mine has lost 40 + pounds so far on it and he swears by it.

My craving stopped at about week 1 in stage 2.  Once I stopped the Dr Peppers (stage 2), I went through about three days of wanting it.  Day four it was over, and I haven't wanted one since.
