Hi, I am new to this board and was hoping to learn a little about this diet.

I am a 23 year old male and am in pretty good shape.  I am 5'11" and weigh somewhere between 155 and 160 pounds any given day.  I jog about 30 minutes 5 times a week and workout 2 to 3 times a week.  However, my diet has been my fallback.  I try to eat a healthy 6 small meals a day but it doesn't always work out to well.  Going out to pubs with friends twice a week definitely is not very healthy for me as well.

I was wondering if this diet would help me get a 6 pack.  I would like to maintain my weight but I would also like to improve my appearance and naturally feel better about myself.

Is this diet for me?

If I were to start this diet what would I have to spend any given month on food?

What are good places to shop and what foods should I buy?  I have a Trader Joe's less than a mile from my house that I love to go to.

I apologize for all the questions and I thank everyone in advance for their input.

Hi, I've only just completed week one of stage one, so I'm probably not the best person to answer your questions.
However, if you want a six-pack you need to do regular ab workouts, obviously. Any extra weight you may be carrying over the abs will reduce on stage 2 of this diet, so, theoretically, it will help you get a six-pack as long as you eat right and exercise right.

The way of life will be more expensive if you always buy top-quality meat and veg. An easy way to reduce this would be to grow your own vegetables and fruit if you have space, and cheaper cuts of meat can be just as tasty if prepared right.

Anyway, hope you give it a go.

I was telling about/Introducing myself and asking everyone if they think this plan is good for me.

Since my original post, I have been eating Paleo since the 13th.  I haven't been following this sites instructions, however.

I have been eating Eggs and either Sausage or Bacon for breakfast.  Throughout the day I have been eating only fruits and veggies.  At around 7 everyday, I have for the most part been eating Chicken with some cumin (Is this ok?) with sauteed veggies.

I have also been drinking green tea straight to help with my caffeine addiction and it has been getting better.  Then again, I'm not sure if green tea is ok with this plan.

Also last friday some of my college buddies came to visit me so we went to Happy Hour then out to drink.  This was the only time I cheated.

Altogether I am loving this plan.  I have noticed I feel better physically and emotionally.

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
