So i just started the diet today and so far i've made a bowl of about one cup of a mixture of bananas, strawberries, apples, and blueberries. I ate that for breakfast but im not exactly sure what to do about the rest of the day. What exactly does "grazing" mean?

Thanks Smiley

As far as I understand grazing to be is eating little light bits often throughout the day rather than having 3 structured meal times. Just having little bits when you are feeling a bit hungry.

This is aso my first day so I wouldnt like to tell you that for certain thats just what i think it means. I hope that helps you.

grazing means a handful of nuts or berries during the day when you start getting serious hunger pains. Thats how I always treated it.

make sure your feast has a good deal of protein and carbs in it, protein will make you feel better and carbs will help keep you fuller longer. example: a steak and a baked sweet potato. grilled chicken and mashed parsnips. or fish fillet and steamed beets. Root vegetables always have a good amount of carbohydrate in them Smiley

some people feel kinds iffy about baked potatoes, some people eat them, others don't. That i think is more personal preference than anything. I eat white potatoes on occasion but I always leave the skin on. sweet potatoes I eat often, they are the perfect pre-workout food (In my opinion)

Agree, I think the ban on potatoes has more to do for cavemen looking to drop pounds. I don't consider them non-paleo, just kinda starchy and lots of carbs. For thin cavemen a loaded potatoe is great sidedish.
