So hear I am at the tender age of 40 embracing my caveman roots. I look like a caveman. My friends affectionately call me the ape man. This feels very right for me.
I've started stage one. I'm on my second day. I've not felt hungry but very fuzzy with headaches too! My feasts though (all two of them) have been amazing. Never has food tasted so good - perhaps not since I was a cave baby. It's made me realise just how much *bleep* I eat and how much I take it for granted. I need to embrace my inner caveman. The Chinese takeaways in my area know my name. I rarely cook, I'm addicted to all the bad carbs. In the past two years I've ruptured my Achillies tendon and had a knee operation. Without the regular exercise I've put on weight and I've been eating *bleep* to go with it. I listened to this lecture on you tube -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3RvWGx0AJE&feature=relatedOnly the last part is about MS - The first is about us, our evolution and what we eat. It blew my mind and opened up my big cave man eyes.
So stage one - I'm eating what I want and hopefully that will get me off the *bleep*. Reawaken my taste buds and help me to be the caveman that I should be.
Hope all is well in your caves
