Well here I am, Day 5 and lovin it. Still feel a little hungry sometimes during the day but I dont feel bloated like I always did and the weather is great as I am able to get out and walk. Just power walking at the mo, have to start slow as I was in hospital just after Chrismas with Swine flu and a couple of extra infections it through in to try and kill me off !! I want to drop about a stone overall so a slow start is good for me. But I already feel like I have more energy and I am sleeping better too.
Any advise on the hunger pangs ? should I eat more friut/veg in the day? I hope over the next week they will subside as my stomach shrinks back to a more normal size.

Yes, eat a few more fruit.  Graze on almonds, too! Not too many tropical fruits, though. Too high in sugar.  Drink lots of water and green tea.  The hunger pangs do get a lot better, for me they got a lot better in week 2.
Now all I eat is two oranges and about 15 almonds and then my Paleo meal.  Some days I can go all day without eating anything but if I exercise then I get a bit more hungry.

I'm on day 14 and down 10 pounds and I love this new way of looking at food.

Good luck and keep us posted!  Roll Eyes

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
