Hi everyone,

Today was my first day of Stage 1 and I feel good knowing that I did not eat too much and was very positive thoughout the day.  I know that after reading some of the posts that there will be some tough days but I am also very excited to what lies ahead.  In terms of supplements, I take a fish oil pill and a multi vitamin and mineral.  Can I continue to take these?  Also, when's the best time to have your single dinner?  I had mine at 6pm and now it's 11pm and not hungry but I am worried that it might be better to eat closer to 7.

Well I do plan on checking in and journaling my progress.  Any support and comments would definitely help!

Thanks

Welcome to the tribe, squinto!

I also take a multivitamin and a fish oil supplement, and I'm pretty sure they're fine. The multivitamin is probably not  necessary with the amount of fresh fruit and vegetables we eat, but I don't think there's any harm in it either.

As this was only your first day, I'm not sure when you should eat your feast - perhaps just play around with the times as you progress - in a couple of days you may find yourself more hungry and continue to eat at 6pm, or as your body adjusts you may become less hungry, so delay the feast slightly. There really are no rules about that, apart from the caveman mantra: eat when you're hungry.

Looking forward to hearing about your progress, and good luck!

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
