Hikes were much easier after losing almost 30lbs. Andrews Glacier had too much unstable snow to decend safely but managed to make it up two 12000' peaks, Flattop Mountain and Hallets Peak. Here's a few pics...

love those pictures of the young moose trying to scare away the fox hahaha

I am jealous that you have been able to experience all this beauty, i cannot wait to travel this summer!

Thanks, it was a blast.

Just for your future ID reference it's an Elk chasing a Coyote. You can usually tell because a fox tends to have more color, and often their legs will be one color and their bodies another. It gets hard sometimes thou. I reported a sighting of mountain goats to the park service(they're trying to relocate non-indiginous species). Turned out they were young female Bighorn Sheep. ..


The coyote was stalking ground squirrls but the Elks were dropping calfs so they were keeping an eye on him...



But he wasn't too scared of them...


The young bull elk's were mostly playing in the lake that day...
