Hey all yet another new guy. So I have been doing the Clean Program. Basically the caveman without any dairy or eggs. The idea was to detox and remove all allergens. I am at the tail end of the thing, and find that I have a love affair with protein. I am a very active person (I climb champion trees in my spare time, medieval swordsmanship, lots of moronic stuff like that.)

I have found that with all the wheat I was eating before that I needed a ridiculous number of naps during the day. With he clean program I am finding I need more protein. I have been adding hemp protein to my shakes and that has helped alot. I have chickens (gotta love Portland Or) and have a very accessible supply to organic happy eggs, and am about to say sorry to wife, break with the diet and add eggs.

My question is this, is cheese ok? Cured Meat? What other forms of protein can I pick up? We eat alot of almonds. Anything in particular to avoid?

caveman doesn't include dairy, so yes avoid those, but you can have eggs. Some here do eat cheese occasionally, it's a personal choice, though for me i find the lactose makes me feel sick...... have it now and then if you like, and it doesn't make you ill.

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
