I have had great results on the diet going from 242lbs to 214lbs in 2 months. I have been moving and had help come, but help came with bad foods and I caved. Now I'm sitting at work with an insane craving for my old habits, chips and sodas. I'm having a hard time getting back into my groove and have gained 7lbs over a 4 day period! I think its a multitude of sleep deprivation, stress and temptation. Have any of you dealt with this and how do you get back into your good habits? Any tricks? Appreciate your help!

I don't beat myself up for a cheat meal, but I do try to cheat sensible. Like maybe a mexican dinner, or a chinese meal, or a couple beers with buddies. I don't cheat with ice cream, cake, pizza(just about any Italian really), sodas(yuck).

But back to your problem  Grin

I'd suggest a good intermitent fast, do it this weekend and stay busy, drink lots of water and eat only paleo foods for your one meal at night. Then Monday just get back on track with Paleo foods and light grazing.

It's not the odd things we eat every once in a while that bring us down, it's the things we eat day after day.

Melissa had a good article a while back that helped me at the time...

PS For a paleo alternative to chips try pork rinds, zero carbs, kinda high in sodium so enjoy them within reason...

Thanks for the advice, I was able to stay good yesterday and rewarded myself with a juicy steak and broccoli, my favorite paleo meal. Im doing well today with a gallon of water halfway through and no cravings. Going to grill up some chicken tonight!
