Hello everyone.

My name is Charlie Oldeman. I am a 21 year old from Canada and am hoping to embark on my paleo journey at the end of the month.

I just wanted to introduce myself to the community and what not.

If anyone has any suggestions on how I should prep, that'd be amazing too.

Charlie.

How do you prep??..... simply use up/throw out/ donate all the food you shouldn't be eating.... if it's not in the house, you can't eat it!!

Also get yourself a list of recipe ideas..... if you're eating the same thin g every night you might get fed up with it and eat something you shouldn't. Also if you get sweet cravings sometimes then make sure you have some fruit to hand at all times or i can give you my jelly recipe if you like it.

Welcome to the tribe - Lilnicki's advice is great - if there are non-paleo foods in the house, it does make it harder to stick to the way of life.
My boyfriend is a fiend for chocolate and always has a big tin of it tucked away somewhere - it drives me mad and I do give in and have a piece far too often. But because there isn't really anything else in the house, it's the only thing I give in on.

Are you from Atlantic Canada? If so then I find having fresh fish nearby helps. Also, plant an apple tree.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. It is comforting to have such an encouraging support group behind me.

Lilnicki and falcon: thank you both for your ideas. They seem...wise.

Alex: I wish I wasfrom Atlantic Canada. Can't get as good a quality of fish in my landlocked province.
