I just started eating caveman style, about 6 days and it is amazing, to say the least.  I know it's going to work, which for me is not about losing weight, but feeling strong and clean and fit.  In any event, I am a female and I was just wondering if there are any modifications for women.  I don't want to lose all my "fat" as I know it's more necessary for women.  How did cavewomen's diets differ from cavemen?   I weigh 122 (I lost 2.5 pounds in 6 days).  I would be fine getting down to about 117, but no less.  I already look thin.  I also don't want to stop menstruating of course.

Thanks for any insights men or women might have.

I tend to eat more red meat around "that time" of the month, though a lot of my nutritional healing books say otherwise... dont know why that is, the extra iron will do you well!!

i tend to eat more than my fiance does, and i weigh considerably less than he does. I weigh around 120lbs at the moment and i have been trying to gain weight, though i fluctuate with 120-125 quite often, but that is completely natural for a woman.

I dont see any modifications that should be different with a man's and woman's diet.. except for women needing extra iron and calcium, which can easily be achived though eating kale. I eat about 4-6 cups of wilted kale a week, not only does it keep me up to date on my iron and calcium intake it also helps keep your digestive system running smoothly  Roll Eyes   hehehe

i wish you the best!

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
